Man of the moment
Mansony got back to winning ways for Davy Russell and Arthur Moore in the rearranged Normans Grove Chase at Fairyhouse.
Tumbling Dice and Watson Lake forced the pace and took the field into the home straight but Liam Burke’s Thyne Again appeared to be just biding his time before hitting the front.
He duly took the lead at the second-last but the very testing ground began to take its toll and under a typically cool ride from Russell, Mansony (11-4) came from way off the pace to score by six lengths.
Moore said: "It's good to be back in the winner's enclosure with him.
“He seems to have retained a fair bit of his ability.
“He’ll most likely go to Punchestown next week for the Tied Cottage, then go to Naas for the Newlands Chase three weeks later."
