Warwick take early look
A precautionary inspection is to be held at Warwick at 8am ahead of tomorrow’s meeting due to the threat of heavy rain.
Although the track is currently raceable, up to 20 millimetres could fall before racing is due to start.
“We have a forecast this evening ranging between 15 to 20mm of rain. The track is currently raceable but our going is heavy, soft in places,” said clerk of the course Andrew Morris.
“It is due to start raining at nine o’clock tonight and run through to lunchtime tomorrow.
“With that forecast in mind, we need to see how much rain we’ve had by the morning and update everyone as needed.”
