Snow hits Hexham meeting

This afternoon’s fixture at Hexham has been abandoned after the track failed an inspection at 12.30pm.

Officials at the course were forced to call an initial check for 10am after a frosty night but conditions had improved sufficiently for clerk of the course Jonnie Fenwicke-Clennell to give the meeting the go-ahead.
