Taranis wins Ryanair Chase
Taranis won a thrilling renewal of the Ryanair Chase for Paul Nicholls and Ruby Walsh.
After taking up the running at the second-last, a fantastic leap at the final fence sealed the victory, although Walsh had to keep him up to his work to fend off the late lunge of Our Vic by a neck.
Timmy Murphy had been hard work for some time on David Pipe’s charge and just failed to reel in the winner.
Billyvoddan ran a huge race for Henry Daly to finish half a length away in third.
