Hexham call inspection

Hexham have called a 4pm inspection ahead of today’s meeting at the track.

The Northumberland venue has seen a lot of rain in recent days and clerk of the course Jonnie Fenwicke-Clennell reports the going to be heavy.

He said: “We had 11 millimetres of rain overnight but I think it’s stopped raining now.

“There has obviously been a lot of rain and we had about 16 millimetres the other day so it is very wet and there are one or two places that are a little bit iffy.

“There will be an inspection at 4pm and if it is not raceable then I doubt it will be tomorrow.”
