The Elusive Quality filly steps up in trip to 10 furlongs for the Grade One contest on dirt, having last weekend travelled to America without a hitch.

Vague, who won the Group Three UAE 1000 Guineas on dirt in February, returned to action at the Coronation Stakes last month.

She stayed on strongly in that mile event to indicate that she will enjoy the rise in distance.

Connections are now hopeful that she can give a good account of herself on her first start in America, where she will be ridden by Kent Desormeaux.

Noseda said: “The filly has travelled well and seems to have acclimatised without any problems. She appears to be in top order. Her exploits in Dubai indicate that she will handle the dirt surface, while I feel she will get the mile-and-a-quarter trip.

“We are hopeful of a big performance.”
