Jersey joy for Jeremy

Jeremy came from last to first to win the opening race on the second day of Royal Ascot.

Mick Kinane brought the Michael Stoute-trained colt with a perfectly-timed run to lead in the final half-furlong and take the Group Three Jersey Stakes in good style.

Jeremy (9-2) won by two lengths from Asset, with Kingsgate Prince a head away third.
