O'Brien hopes head to Leopardstown
Aidan O’Brien has opted to keep Beauty Bright and Kamarinskaya at home for their Classic trial.
The pair are currently engaged in Tuesday’s Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket but the Ballydoyle trainer has declared them instead for tomorrow’s Dimitrova 1,000 Guineas Trial Stakes at Leopardstown.
Both fillies, owned by Michael Tabor, hold entries in the English and Irish 1000 Guineas. Kieren Fallon rides Beauty Bright.
Jim Bolger is hoping the ground is not too soft for his runner, Chennai.
“She’s well but we’re not sure about the going. It’s soft and she’s not raced on it before,” said the Co Carlow trainer.
Mick Channon sends over sole English challenger Asaawir while the seven-strong field is completed by Gist, Mrs Snaffles and Ugo Fire.
