Chepstow calls further inspection

Chepstow will hold a further inspection at 9.30am ahead of this afternoon’s meeting.

Clerk of the course Tim Long initially checked conditions at 8am but that inspection proved inconclusive.

He said: “We are going to have another look at 9.30am but we remain optimistic. Temperatures are just above freezing now with a considerable wind chill so we just want to make sure we are good to go.”
