Kelso on weather watch

Kelso have called a precautionary inspection for 7.15am tomorrow ahead of their afternoon meeting.

Temperatures are forecast to dip below freezing overnight but clerk of the course Johnnie Fenwicke-Clennell is very hopeful racing will take place.

He said: “We had a frost last night but we were raceable by about 10.30 this morning.

“It’s forecast to go to about minus three so we will have to check the track in the morning.”
