Dehydration forces Spencer out of three rides

Jamie Spencer gave up three of his six rides at Leicester due to dehydration.

Spencer rode in the first three races, partnering a second and a third, before deciding to call a premature end to his afternoon.

His agent Chris McGrath said: “He rode in the first three races and he then he called me to say he felt a bit dehydrated.

“He gave up his other rides but I hope he will be back tomorrow.”
