Gift Horse got up in the last stride to pip Fonthill Road in the £100,000 (€145,000) Vodafone Stewards’ Cup at Goodwood today.

The five-year-old, ridden by Kieren Fallon and trained by David Nicholls, came with a terrific run inside the final furlong.
