Sam Thomas picked up a two-day ban at Wetherby tonight after being found guilty of misusing his whip.

Thomas will be out of action on June 6 and 7 after the stewards decided he used his whip with excessive frequency on No Further Comment in the Rocom Plantronics “National Hunt” Maiden Hurdle.
