Trainer David Flood is confident Coeur Courageux will put up a bold show in tomorrow’s Poule d’Essai des Poulains (French 2000 Guineas) at Longchamp.

The trainer has always had a high opinion of the son of Xaar, who lost his maiden tag at the third time of asking in good fashion at Lingfield in March.
