Carlisle goes ahead

Today’s meeting at Carlisle will go ahead after the track passed a 7.30am inspection.

Heavy rain over the last few days had left some areas of standing water on the track but they have now dried up.

Clerk of the course Jonnie Fenwicke-Clennell said: “We are giving it a go. It has been dry over the last 24 hours which has helped.”
