Harchibald cemented his position at the top of the Champion Hurdle market with a thrilling victory over Rooster Booster in the Stan James Christmas Hurdle.

The 8-11 favourite followed up an easy win in the ‘Fighting Fifth’ Hurdle when cutting down the grey to score by a length and a half.
