Murphy’s Quest has started to make up for lost time after injury problems robbed connections of four years of his career and the eight-year-old can follow up a recent victory with another at Exeter tomorrow.

The Lady Herries-trained gelding showed early promise before his lengthy spell on the sidelines and his trainer reported they had needed patience “with a capital P” ahead of his comeback run.
