Fast Mix made up for a disappointment last time when landing the Concha Y Toro Wines Selling Hurdle at Ludlow today.

As he was today, Fast Mix went off favourite in Ludlow 11 days ago only to come to grief with the race at his mercy.

But this time there were no errors, although Jamie Moore had to vigorously persuade him to go past 25-1 outsider Gregorian in the closing stages.

There were seven lengths between the pair at the line with a further five lengths back to Canemerle.

Martin Pipe’s stable went to 3,600 guineas to the 4-9 winner.
