Summitville set for Naas

Summitville could tackle the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Noblesse Stakes at Naas next month.

Trainer James Given is considering the Group Three contest over a mile and a half for the filly after her encouraging third behind Crimson Palace at York earlier this month.

Summitville, who finished third in last year’s Oaks, is reported to be in top form ahead of her Irish target.

“She’s very well and we’re looking forward to running her. Her next run will probably be in Ireland in a fillies and mares only race on June 16,” said Given.

“There’s nothing for her at Royal Ascot but she’s a very nice horse and the ground was just against her at York last time.”
