Ted Walsh’s Bob Justice and the Dermot Weld-trained Mutakarrim head the weights for the Pierse Hurdle at Leopardstown on January 11.

The duo are both set to carry 11st 10lb in the two-mile race, while Mick Halford’s Golden Cross and Khetaam from Noel Meade’s yard are next on 11st 8lb.

Richard Fahey’s Altay heads the British entry with 11st 5lb, while Nicky Henderson’s Saintsaire, a leading fancy for Saturday’s Ladbroke Hurdle at Ascot, would carry 11st 3lb.

Henderson’s other entry, Dancing Bay, has been allotted 10st 12lb, while Mary Reveley’s Colourful Life has been given 10st 10lb along with the Hughie Morrison-trained The Last Cast.

Charlie Mann’s Demi Beau (10st 7lb) and Nicky Richards’ Bob The Piler (9st 9lb) complete the possible British challenge.

Colin Murphy’s Brave Inca completed a four-timer at Navan yesterday and the gelding could carry 10st 11lb in the Leopardstown race.

George's Girl, who was beaten into second at Navan, has been given 11st 2lb.
