Ebasani has Ballysax appeal

John Oxx is keen to let Ebasani test the water at Pattern level in the PW McGrath Memorial Ballysax Stakes at Navan.

Formerly held at Leopardstown, the mile-and-a-quarter Group Three is one of the key early season trials for the Derby, with previous winners Galileo (2001) and High Chaparral (2002) going on to claim Epsom glory.

Ebasani looked the part when making a winning racecourse debut at the track in early October and Oxx expects the rise in distance to bring out the best in his colt.
