Five-day ban for Fallon

Jockey Kieren Fallon has been hit with a five-day suspension for appearing to strike his mount, Two Sugars, at the start at Lingfield yesterday.

The six-times champion will sit out racing from November 22-24, 26-27 after the local stewards found Fallon guilty of improper conduct.

The starter reported that Two Sugars, trained by Louise Best, refused to enter the stalls and was withdrawn from the Freebets.co.uk Free Bets Handicap.
