Prince can fire in maiden

CHARLIE Swan’s Prince Of Fire will take all of the beating in the [e-mail] Maiden on the all-weather tonight.

At one stage Swan had great hopes the seven-year-old might develop into a top-class performer over jumps, but such aspirations have not been realised.

On the evidence of his only outing here, however, Prince Of Fire is well capable of at least taking a little contest such as this.
