The pair were among a field of seven declared for the Group One contest over a mile and a half.

While Treasure Beach’s Classic success came over that distance, the Prix du Jockey Club won by Reliable Man at Chantilly is over an extended mile and a quarter.

The unbeaten Reliable Man is trainer Alain de Royer-Dupre’s sole representative, but Aidan O’Brien also has Seville, runner-up to his stablemate Treasure Beach at the Curragh, and Marksmanship.

Colm O’Donoghue keeps the ride on Treasure Beach, with Ryan Moore on Marksmanship and Seamie Heffernan on Seville.

Andre Fabre has won this race 10 times and is double-handed with Kreem and Meandre.

Bubble Chic, second to Reliable Man in the Jockey Club and runner-up to subsequent Investec Derby victor Pour Moi before that, completes the line-up.

nDANCING RAIN and Rumh have both been supplemented for the Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh on Sunday.

The former, trained by William Haggas, bids to become the third successive filly after Sariska and Snow Fairy to complete the Oaks double.

The Saeed bin Suroor-trained Rumh disappointed in the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot after winning in good style at Newbury.

Owners Godolphin also have Blue Bunting, trained by Mahmood Al Zarooni in the list. She was only fourth behind Dancing Rain at Epsom after winning the 1000 Guineas.

Aidan O’Brien has won this race three times and the Ballydoyle trainer has six possibles among the 14 left at the confirmation stage.

They are headed by the favourite Wonder Of Wonders, who was only three-quarters of a length behind Dancing Rain in the Investec Oaks, and the fifth that day, Misty For Me.

Amazing Beauty, Gemstone, Make My Heart Sing and Why make up the O’Brien sextet.

Ribblesdale winner Banimpire and Hurricane Havoc represent Jim Bolger while David Wachman’s Chrysanthemum, Jessica Harrington’s Laughing Lashes and Mick Channon’s Zain Al Boldan are the other entries.

* ANDRE FABRE has confirmed the Prix Niel at Longchamp as the next competitive racecourse appearance for his brilliant Investec Derby hero Pour Moi.

* SILVESTRE DE SOUSA is as short as 9-4 with Bet365 to be crowned champion Flat jockey in Britain after an across-the-card five-timer yesterday saw him move into second place behind Paul Hanagan in the current standings - one winner clear of favourite Ryan Moore.

De Sousa has now ridden 70 winners for the season after supplementing a 26-1 treble on Beverley's afternoon card with victory in the first two races at Southwell's evening meeting, aboard the Mark Johnston-trained New Decade and Tim Pitt-trained Sonko, to complete a fabulous 257-1 five-timer.
