Radio heads for Phoenix Stakes

RADIOHEAD will bid to supplement his Royal Ascot gains in the Camas Park & Ashtown House Studs Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday week.

The son of 2001 Phoenix winner Johannesburg took the Norfolk Stakes at the Royal meeting and will be stepping up to six furlongs for the first time.

“He worked very well this morning, he is in great shape since his Royal Ascot win and it is all systems go for him to run at the Curragh,” said trainer Brian Meehan.
