Sunset shines between showers

TORRENTIAL rain greeted the opening stage of Knockgraffon’s three-day meeting yesterday.

However it cleared up after the break and following the opening two rounds of the 64 runner Derby Trial Stake it was still all to play for.

In the opening quarter nothing went as well as the Michael O’Donovan trained, and Tim O’Driscoll (Glanmire) owned, Skelligs Sunset. He won both his courses yesterday in good style and should beat Gaels Cold Play this morning before meeting Sycee, who will be fancied to dispose of Crohane Hill in their third round buckle.
