Barefoot in control

Barefoot in control

Drawn in trap four, the 2/1 co-favourite was fast away and led Deejay Ninetysix and Jeffs Pacific into the turn.

The other three runners where involved in some baulking at this point and Barefoot Maestro availed of the opportunity to pull clear, eventually scoring by five and half lengths from Deejay Ninetysix to record a 17th success in 45 career outings.
