Over €1m in prize money on offer at Listowel

OVER €1.1m in prize money will be on offer at this year’s seven day Festival meeting at Listowel, which kicks-off on Sunday with a family day and an all-National Hunt card.

The feature race on the day is the €40,000 Dawn Milk Handicap Chase, while the following day features The Irish Stallion Farms Nursery of €50,000 which is bound to attract some of the better juveniles around. Tuesday will be is Ladies Day with the feature race being the Listowel Races Supporters Club Hurdle of €55,000.

The Guinness Kerry National of €150,000 over 3 miles is not just the race of the day on Wednesday, but the race of the week.
