Maree's National Cup ban upheld but Super League points deduction cut

Last month Maree were punished having been found guilty on a charge of attempting to register players using falsified documents.

Super League club Maree have had their ban from this season's Pat Duffy National Cup upheld by the the National Appeals Committee.

However, Maree's 24-point penalty for this season's Men's Super League season has been reduced to 18 following an appeal hearing on Wednesday.
