Jason Smyth wins second gold at World Para Athletics Championships

The London Stadium proved to be a happy hunting ground for Irish sprinter Jason Smyth.

Five years after completing the Olympic sprint double there, he claimed gold in the T13 200-metres last night to add to his 100-metre gold from earlier in the week.

Smyth won the race in a season's best time of 21.4 seconds.

Meath sprinter Paul Keogan placed seventh in the T37 200-metres final.

Patrick Monahan is Ireland's sole competitor this evening.

He competes in the heats of the men's T53 800-metres just after 9.20pm.
