Silver for Walsh and Meehan

After winning three gold medals in London yesterday, Team Ireland have secured another medal today.

Catherine Walsh and pilot Fran Meehan won silver in the women's individual B pursui at the London 2012 velodrome to bring Ireland's tally of medals to five.

They were competing in a ride off against Phillipa Gray and Laura Thompson of New Zealand.

World champions Walsh and Meehan had qualified in 3 mins 36.453secs.
