Federer triumphs in Paris
Roger Federer ended Jo-Wilfried Tsonga’s hopes of claiming the Paris Masters on home turf with a clinical performance that saw him take a 69th career title with a 6-1 7-6 (7/3) win.
Federer, who ended a 10-month wait for a tour success in Basle last week, continued to build momentum ahead of the ATP World Tour finals in London later this month with a first win at a tournament that has always eluded him in the past.
