Roger Federer matched Andy Murray in winning his opening clash at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London today as he made it 11 matches without defeat against David Ferrer.

Roger Federer matched Andy Murray in winning his opening clash at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London today as he made it 11 matches without defeat against David Ferrer.

Murray had beaten Robin Soderling 6-2 6-4 this afternoon and his Group B rival was just as emphatic, dispatching the seventh seed 6-1 6-4 at the O2 Arena, although not without a scrap in the second set.
