Djokovic through to Paris semis

Robin Soderling's hopes of qualifying for the season-ending Barclays ATP World Tour Finals ended this afternoon with a quarter-final defeat to Novak Djokovic at the Paris Masters.

The Swede needed to at least reach the final to have a chance of claiming the last spot at the prestigious eight-man tournament at London's O2 later this month, but lost 6-4 1-6 6-3.
