Murray misses Estoril Open

British number one Andy Murray has given this week’s Estoril Open a miss after picking up a back injury.

Murray, 18, will be hoping that a rest this week will enable him to regain fitness in time for back-to-back Masters Series tournaments in Rome and Hamburg.

Murray, who this week dropped a place to number 44 in the world rankings, is believed to have suffered the back problem during last week’s tournament in Barcelona.
