Roddick sets up dream men's final

Andy Roddick set up the dream Wimbledon men's final as he beat unseeded Croatian Mario Ancic in four sets today.

Second seed Roddick won the semi-final 6-4 4-6 7-5 7-5.

Roddick lost four games in a row to Mario Ancic when their rain-delayed semi-final resumed on court one this afternoon, the unseeded Croatian taking the set 6-4 to level the match.

But the second seed then turned the tables and emerged from another rain break at 4-5 down in the third set firing on all cylinders, storming through the next three games to take the set 7-5 for a two sets to one lead.

The fourth set went with serve until Ancic crumbled under the pressure in the 11th game.

A double fault gave Roddick two break points and although Ancic produced a brilliant second serve to save the first, another double fault gifted his opponent the break and a chance to serve for the match.

Roddick had the advantage of serving with new balls but needed to save a break point before finally completing a 6-4 4-6 7-5 7-5 victory to seal his place in the final against Roger Federer.
