The Masters at Augusta National hasn't even begun, yet we may have already seen one of the finest putts Augusta will see this week.

Poppy McIlroy accompanied her dad, Rory, as an honorary caddie on Wednesday as they competed in the Masters Par 3 Contest.

The four-year-old even did a bit of golfing herself, and what do you know, she managed to hole a seriously impressive putt of her own, with proud dad Rory and the Lowrys in attendance to celebrate.

What do we reckon, better than her dad?

Rory will be hoping to match his young daughter's feat over the weekend, but whatever happens on his quest for that elusive Masters title, Poppy's moment is one that will live long in his own memory.

“Yeah, very cool,” McIlroy said.

“It’s just such a fun afternoon. Being out there with Shane (Lowry) and Tommy (Fleetwood) and their families, we’re all very, very close, so to have the kids out there and them having fun is the most important thing.

“It’s a really nice way to sort of end the preparation going into what is the serious part of the week. So it’s nice to be able to get out here and do this.”
