Jack Nicklaus often bumps into Rory McIlroy at the Bear’s Club but when asked by pesky reporters why the Holywood star has gone ten years without a major win, he’s been as diplomatic as he can be.

“I don't know whether his is a constant lack of being able to keep that concentration for the whole thing or not, because sometimes he goes par, par, par, double, 8. He does that sometimes,” the Golden Bear said nearly two years ago when the major drought was only nine years.
