Since 1935, only Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979 has managed to win a green jacket in his Masters debut. This current class of 19 debutantes is more equipped than most to produce a rookie winner at Augusta.

Rare is the year when a reigning U.S. Open champion, a pair of winning Ryder Cuppers, a red-hot two-time PGA Tour event winner and player who won on tour as an amateur are on the list of first-timers at Augusta.
