Shane Lowry cut a frustrated figure as he walked off the 18th green at Palm Beach on Monday. The Offaly man had just carded a birdie to conclude a level par final round.
His 13-under score was good enough to finished tied for fourth in the Cognizant Classic. Lowry's frustration stemmed from the feeling it could have been so much better.
The tournament was won by American Austin Eckroat on 17-under. It was Eckroat's debut victory on the PGA Tour.
Lowry had started the final round, which got underway on Sunday but was delayed until Monday due to Thunderstorms, tied for the lead alongside Eckroat and David Skinns.
Playing in the final pairing, Lowry managed just five holes before the final round was postponed until Monday.
Those five holes saw Lowry card four pars and a bogey meaning he would started the resumed round three shots off the leader.

Monday was frustratingly inconsistent for Lowry as he shot two bogeys and a double bogey along with five birdies.
Lowry's frustration was particularly evident on the 15th when he landed in the water off the tee, a shot which led to that double bogey.
Rory McIlroy, who fell out of contention in the third round, finished tied for 21st on ten-under.
"Week that could have been," said McIlroy.
"I felt like most of my play was a bit better than what the result suggested.
"That bad hole on 16 (a triple bogey in round three), a few sloppy mistakes here and there. Overall, the game seems to be trending in the right direction.
"I drove the ball great again this week. I led the field in strokes gained off the tee at Riv. Probably going to do that again this week.
"That [driving] is the foundation of my game. When that's good, I just need some of the rest of the pieces to fall into play. Hopefully they can over the next couple weeks."
