Lessons from Day One at the Ryder Cup

Viktor Hovland, Jon Rahm and Justin Rose successively wrote themselves into this tournament’s storied history. After a one-sided start, the day took off after lunch. Hovland lit the match with a birdie, Rahm poured gasoline with an eagle and Rose dug out a draw with a par.
