McIlroy and McDowell in joint interview ahead of Ryder Cup

Golf fans worried about the possibility of a rift between Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell will be delighted to see them sitting down together for a TV interview.

The pair joined fellow golfer Darren Clarke for an interview called “Major Champions” - to be screened on Wednesday night by BBC Northern Ireland.

The three golfers from the North discuss all aspects of the game, including their relationships with each other.

A joint interview bodes well for the pair being able to put their differences behind them and continue their hugely successful on-course partnership in Gleneagles next week.
