McIlroy: I still have choice over who I can represent at Olympics
Rory McIlroy insists he still has a choice on who to play for at the Olympics in Rio.
The Ulsterman said the Olympic charter still gives him a choice and that cannot be taken away.
He added that if you don't play a World cup event with the country you previously represented for three years, you still have a chance to change who you represent.
The 24-year-old confirmed he has no plans to play for Ireland at the World cup this year but said he would rather not talk about his Olympic decision until he has to decide.
