Paired with world number one Tiger Woods over the first two rounds of play in Orlando, Florida, Ireland’s 2008 Open and US PGA champion put himself in contention with rounds of 70 and 68 to leave him in a tie for sixth place at two under par, six shots back of halfway leader Sean O’Hair of the United States.
