Fisher on top in the wet

Ross Fisher was six strokes clear with nine holes to play in the European Open at the wet and windy London Club in Kent.

After bogeying the second, the 27-year-old Englishman, three ahead overnight, sank a 50-foot eagle putt on the long fifth after nearest challenger Graeme McDowell had struggled through the opening four holes in four over.
