Lorena Ochoa fired her second consecutive seven-under-par 66 to take a one-shot lead after the second round of the Corona Championship on Friday.

Helped by her third eagle in two days, Ochoa moved to 14-under 132 for a one-shot lead over Inbee Park, who is alone at 133 after a sizzling nine-under 64.

Ochoa, who is seeking her fourth victory in five starts this season after winning the Kraft Nabisco Championship last weekend, had five birdies and an eagle in her bogey-free round

Meanwhile, Park reeled off 10 birdies – five on each nine – at the Tres Marias Residential Golf Club to move into sole possession of second place, two shots ahead of first-round co-leader Song-Hee Kim (69), who is at 11-under 135.

Kim birdied the first two holes but could not equal the torrid pace set by Ochoa and Kim, falling back with bogeys at the ninth and 13th.

Na Yeon Choi (68) is alone in fourth place on nine-under 137 after a wild up-and-down round that featured nine birdies and four bogeys.

Sun Young Yoo also made a big charge up the leaderboard, signing for an eight-under 65 which moved her into fifth place on 138.

Defending champion Silvia Cavalleri fired an even-par 73 and fell 16 strokes off the lead.
