Cabrera scoops Tour award

Angel Cabrera has won the European Tour shot of the month award for June following his US Open victory.

Cabrera scooped the award for his nine-iron approach to the 15th hole in the final round at Oakmont, which finished just inches from the hole for a vital birdie.

Richard Green took second place for his chip shot on the first play-off hole against Jean-Francois Remesy which sealed the Austrian Open, while BMW International Open winner Niclas Fasth was third for his tee shot at the 71st hole in Munich.
