Howell takes lead in Hawaii

Charles Howell surged to a one-shot lead after the third round of the Sony Open in Hawaii on Saturday.

Howell made his move with seven birdies in a 5-under-par 65 in a testing breeze at Waialae Country Club to move to 13-under after posting a 197 total.
