Rose back in lead in Canada
Britain’s Justin Rose fought his way back into a share for the lead at the Canadian Open at Ancaster, Ontario, tonight.
Rose, joint top after his course record-equalling opening 63 on Thursday, began the third round in fifth place, but birdied the first three holes and after eight holes remained nine under par and level with South African Trevor Immelman and American Sean O’Hair.
They were a stroke ahead of Bart Bryant and Brett Quigley, with title favourite Jim Furyk among those on seven under and tied sixth.
