Couples set for Scottish Open bow

American Fred Couples, who is bidding to play in a sixth Ryder Cup, will play in next month’s Scottish Open at Loch Lomond.

The 46-year-old will make his first appearance in the event, held between July 13 and 16, before he moves on to the Open at Hoylake the following week.
